Mennekes® Amtron Compact- 11kW- 16A/3-phase- Type 2

Mennekes Amtron Compact is a home charger with good German design and quality. The charging station produces up to 11kW (16A/3-phase 400V) and is supplied with a 5 meter long, fixed charging cable. It is developed for private and semi-private use. The charging box offers user friendly comfort and secure charging in accordance with regulations (IEC 61851). Mennekes® is the German company that developed and designed what we call "type 2" plug/  contact which is used in newer electric vehicles. 

Practical and Universal Solution
The Amtron Compact enables mode 3 charging and is supplied with a fixed charging cable with a type 2 plug. A fixed charging cable makes it convenient and easy to charge your car- as the cable is always ready to use. The integrated cable hanger makes it simple to keep the chord tidy and in place.

Secure and User friendly
The charging station has built-in DC-RCM/ detection <6mA and temperature monitoring to ensure against overheating inside the enclosure. The charging box is easily adapted to the existing capacity by adjusting the charging current between 6/810/13/16A if this is needed. 

Potential Free Entry and Installation
Integrated potential-free input/connector provides the possibility of external control of charging current. There are options for cable entry both from above and below. The largest recommended pre-connected fuse is 20A.

Rubber Cap The charging cable is supplied with a rubber cap on the type 2 charging plug. It is connected to the car to protect it from dirt, water and dust while not in use and stored. .	Robust and Flexible Cable Mennekes® has the market's most flexible and mechanically durable cable. It contains internal cable routing cushions, filling  the negative space within the cable- which protects the conductors when the cable is being bent or twisted. The optimal insulation thickness and rubber compound provides exceptionally long durability, increased safety and maximum flexibility.
Quality at All Levels  The charging station is manufactured in Germany and follows strict quality control.	Fully Cast Type 2 Plug The fully molded plugs are filled with epoxy creating a solid mass that fills the entire plug, thus spreading heat evenly. This avoids overheating of the charging contact. It also seals and protects the conductors, making it waterproof. The rubber handle provides a better grip while in use.
