Isolation Transformer - Autotransformer
An isolation transformer creates a new stable and local power grid (galvanic separation) so that you avoid earth faults and can thus also charge the Renault ZOE.
Autotransformer only upscales the voltage and is perfect for those who have a 230V / 3-phase IT network and want a 400V/3-phase TN network. This means that cars that support 3-phase charging can charge faster, such as Tesla Model S / X, Mercedes B-class and BMW i3. We supply transformers in several different sizes so that they can be easily adapted to the available capacity.
