CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES AND PLUG-IN HYBRIDS PRIVATELY
The power sensor measures the power consumption in the house and will automatically adjust the charge according to how much power is available. This means that you can charge with up to 32A when the electricity consumption in the house is low.
Smart charging makes it possible to start with one charging box and connect more later if you get more electric vehicles or want to charge more cars at the same time.
Dynamic charging and load balancing means that you can charge with up to 32A (as long as the main fuse is greater than 40A). How quickly you get charged depends on the charging station, the charging cable and the car.
With AMS power meters, more and more network providers charge for power consumption per hour, i.e. how much power you use every hour. Dynamic charging and load balancing make it possible to limit the maximum current draw of the electric car(s) so that you get a more even consumption throughout the day and thus a lower electricity bill.
Automatic Distribution of the Current
The charging solution ensures that the main fuse does not trip and always prioritizes electricity for everyday tasks such as cooking, laundry, heating and other consumption in the house. Likewise, the charging station is assigned full power at night so that you get a fully charged car(s) until the following morning.
HOW DYNAMIC CHARGING AND LOAD BALANCING WORK
The current sensor is mounted in the fuse box and current meters are attached to the cables of the main fuse or connected to your AMS meter. The sensor / device monitors the electricity consumption in the house and allocates available capacity to the charging station(s). This makes it possible to charge with up to 32A when the house uses little, which is normally seen at night. Likewise, it dynamically balances the power consumption for charging so that you always have power available when cooking, washing clothes or vacuuming. This means that you do not have to invest in and upgrade the main fuse, or that you allocate a large part of the available capacity you have to just charging the car(s).
