Housing associations are entitled to order Norgespris for common consumption within the housing association. Common consumption can, for example, be electricity for hot water, laundry rooms, heating of common areas, garage facilities, elevators, and residents' EV charging. The chairman of the board can order Norgespris on behalf of the housing cooperative.

Akershus County Municipality has announced a grant scheme of NOK 5 million to promote charging infrastructure for electric cars in housing cooperatives, condominiums, and garage associations. Easee has launched several models of charging stations, and there are often questions about the differences between them. Home chargers: These are designed for private homes and include: Easee Home, Easee Charge Lite, Easee Charge UP and Easee MAX.

All of these can be installed in a maximum of three units per system, with a maximum current of 40A. They can be combined in the same system, but not with any of the models for larger charging systems.

Charging stations for larger charging facilities: These are intended for businesses, condominiums and housing associations, and include: Easee Charge, Easee Core and Easee Pro.

These models allow an unlimited number of devices per installation, with a maximum current of 63A per circuit. They can be combined on the same installation, but not with any of the "home chargers".

In short, home chargers can be combined with each other, while models for larger facilities only work together.

Given the extensive and thorough work on compliance, we are pleased to relaunch our 22 kW home charger, which no longer requires an external RCD (type A residual current device) upon installation. As you may know, the integrated RCD in our chargers fully complies with European standards.

In July 2023, Nkom initiated a market inspection of eight electric car chargers, based on previous findings in Sweden and concerns about electrical safety. No serious non-compliances were identified, but deficiencies were identified related to labeling, safety information and documentation for installers and users. Nkom has sent notices to Tesla and Zaptec to rectify non-compliances, as well as a request to Easee to rectify one charging station. The other five operators were notified that the inspection has been concluded.
