Refund policy

The Right of Withdrawal Act gives you the right to cancel your purchase. The right of withdrawal assumes that you no later than 14 days after you receive the delivery notify Elbilgrossisten AS of this (cf. Right of Withdrawal Act § 21). The consumer must without unnecessary delay, and no later than 14 days from notification of the right of withdrawal has been given, send the goods back (cf. Withdrawal Act § 25). Note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases under 300 NOK including shipping and additional costs (cf. the right of withdrawal §2)

Contact us and inform that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.

In order for the right of withdrawal to be applicable, the product must be returned to us in the same quantity and condition as you received it (cf. The Right of Withdrawal Act § 12 point a). If you use or inspect the product(s) in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the product's nature, characteristics and function, and this leads to a reduction in the value of the product, Elbilgrossisten can deduct an amount equivalent to the value reduction from the purchase amount to be refunded.

All products must be returned to Elbilgrossisten AS within a reasonable time when using the right of withdrawal. You cannot therefore send the product to us on delivery, at the same time you have the risk for the transportation of the product back to us. The product is sent back in the original packaging, along with a completed withdrawal form. The return should be made to Elbilgrossisten in accordance with applicable terms.

The right of withdrawal requires that the customer bears the return costs themselves (cf. Right of Withdrawal Act § 8, point i). If the goods cannot be returned by normal post, we recommend Posten.no or PostNord.no for more info and implementation of return of larger packages. If the consumer has explicitly chosen a different type of delivery than this, it is a cost borne by the customer (cf. Right of Withdrawal Act § 24). To create a return label / shipping label do the following:

  1. Go to retur.elbilgrossisten.no
  2. Use return code: Elbilgrossisten (case sensitive)
  3. Enter your phone number - Alternatively, fill out your contact information manually
  4. MARK the shipment with your order number - This is done in the field "SENDER'S REFERENCE (NOT REQUIRED)". Your order number is in the heading of the email from us.
  5. Select the package size that fits your package.
  6. Print out the shipping label and submit the package to the nearest PostNord delivery point

Elbilgrossisten is obligated to pay back to you what you have paid, including postage for the shipment, handling fee, customs duties, cash on delivery fee, etc. This only applies when the entire purchase is returned.

We also point out that mounted, made-to-order and custom-made products are not exchanged, as these will be personally adapted to the customer (cf. The Right of Withdrawal Act §22 item e) We are obligated to pay back to you what you have paid including postage for the shipment to you, handling fee, customs duties, cash on delivery fee, etc. This only applies when the entire purchase is returned. Made-to-order items can be returned by agreement against a fee of 20% of the purchase price.

The refund should take place within 14 days after Elbilgrossisten has received the cancellation notice, but not before 2 days after Elbilgrossisten has received the return from you, or documentation from you that you have sent the return back to Elbilgrossisten.

Active action

It requires an active action* from you in such a way that there is no doubt that you are exercising your right of withdrawal. With an active action, we can handle the case in a quick and efficient manner for both parties, according to the Right of Withdrawal Act (* ref. 14 days deadline mentioned in the Right of Withdrawal Act § 11).

Passive action

If you do not pick up the order and otherwise remain completely passive, this will not give us any indications of why the package was not picked up. You will then not have met the requirements set out for you in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act § 11 and § 13, and thus lose the right to cancel the agreement. When the order comes back as unclaimed, it will be credited in full and the goods put back in stock. We will send a separate invoice for postage both ways, plus unclaimed fee of NOK 250, to cover our handling costs.

The right of withdrawal gives the seller the right to charge the customer if the product has been subjected to a value reduction as a result of use beyond what is necessary to determine the product's nature, characteristics and/or function (cf. The Right of Withdrawal Act § 25).

The refund of the purchase amount is done by the same payment method as you used when ordering, unless otherwise agreed or there are obstacles to refund with the used payment method.
