Refund policy

The Right of Withdrawal Act gives you the right to cancel your purchase. The right of withdrawal requires that you notify Elbilgrossisten AS of this no later than 14 days after you receive the delivery (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act § 21). The consumer must return the goods without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the notification of the right of withdrawal (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act § 25). Please note that the Right of Withdrawal does not apply to purchases under 300 NOK including shipping and additional costs (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act § 2)

Contact us and inform us that you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal.

In order for the right of withdrawal to be exercised, the product must be returned to us in the same quantity and condition as you received it (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act § 12 point a). If you use or examine the product(s) in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, properties and function of the product and this results in the product being reduced in value, Elbilgrossisten may deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value from the purchase price to be refunded.

All products must be returned to Elbilgrossisten AS within a reasonable time when exercising the right of withdrawal. You cannot therefore send the product to us on collection, and you bear the risk of transporting the product back to us. The product must be returned in the original packaging, together with a completed Withdrawal Form. The return must be made to Elbilgrossisten in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions. The right of withdrawal requires that the customer bears the return costs themselves (cf. the Withdrawal Act § 8, point i). If the goods cannot be returned by normal mail, we recommend Posten.no or PostNord.no for more information and implementation of the return of larger packages. If the consumer has expressly chosen a different type of delivery than this, there is a cost borne by the customer (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act § 24). To create a return label/shipping label, do the following:

  • Go to retur.elbilgrossisten.no
  • Use return code: Elbilgrossisten (case sensitive)
  • Fill in your phone number - Alternatively, fill in your contact information manually
  • MARK the shipment with your order number - This is done in the field "SENDER'S REFERENCE (NOT REQUIRED)". Your order number is in the header of the email from us.
  • Choose the package size that suits your package.
  • Print out the shipping label and deliver the package to the nearest PostNord delivery point

Elbilgrossisten is obliged to refund to you what you have paid, including postage for the shipment, handling fees, customs duties, collection fees, etc. This only applies when the entire purchase is returned.

We also note that assembled, custom-made and tailor-made products are not exchanged, as these will be personally adapted to the customer (cf. the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act §22, section e). We are obliged to refund to you what you have paid including postage for the shipment to you, handling fees, customs duties, collection fees, etc. This only applies when the entire purchase is returned. Custom-made products can be returned by agreement for a fee of 20% of the purchase price.

Refunds shall be made within 14 days after Elbilgrossisten has received the cancellation notice, but not before 2 days after Elbilgrossisten has received the return from you, or documentation from you that you have sent the return back to Elbilgrossisten.

Active action

This obliges you to take active action* in such a way that there is no doubt that you are exercising your right of withdrawal. With active action, we can process the case quickly and efficiently for both parties, in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act (* ref. the 14-day period mentioned in the Right of Withdrawal Act § 11).

Passive action

If you do not collect the order and otherwise remain completely passive, this will not give us any indication as to why the package has not been collected. You will then not have met the requirements set for you in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act § 11 and § 13, and thus lose the right to withdraw from the agreement. When the order is returned as uncollected, it will be credited in full and the goods will be put back in stock. We will send a separate invoice for postage both ways, plus an uncollected fee of NOK 490, to cover our handling costs.

The right of withdrawal gives the seller the right to charge the customer if the product has suffered a reduction in value as a result of use beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and/or function of the goods (cf. Right of withdrawal § 25).

The refund of the purchase price will be made by the same means of payment that you used when ordering, unless otherwise agreed or there is an obstacle to a refund due to the payment method used.
