Easee Charge Core gets certified by TÜV

Easee goes beyond the industry standard and receives EU certification from TÜV Rheinland in recognition of its safety. TÜV Rheinland itself has now certified the Easee Charge Core charging box, as well as the Easee Charge Lite. Easee has received a Module B certification that goes beyond standard practice in the electric vehicle charging station industry, ensuring that independent experts verify that the technical solution and documentation meet all relevant European requirements.

TÜV, or Technischer Überwachungsverein, is a German organization with regional branches spread throughout Germany. The main purpose is to protect people and the environment from potential dangers that may arise from industrial plants, products and the like. TÜV acts as an independent inspection body and inspects factories, electrical installations and vehicles, among other things. The organization has very strict requirements for granting its approval (TÜV geprüft), which has made its quality mark one of the most respected internationally.
