Woertz's supply module is mounted directly onto the flat cable. It is suitable for both Woertz and WAGO flat cable systems. 

The supply module is 5-pole for flat cable 5G16mm² or 5G25mm² IP65 with mounting with 1 threaded connector M40x1.5 for 1 supply cable with round cable 5x16mm² and 5x25mm². Cable gland M40 (1583567 for 5x16mm² and 1583568 for 5x25mm²) is an accessory and must be ordered separately.

Then, the Woertz connection box / supply module is mounted over the flat cable where the supply is to be connected.
Now, the Woertz distribution box is connected where an outlet for electric cars is desired. These are available without, with single, and with double outlets.

The flat cable system is based on piercing technology, which enables branching without having to cut the cable or use special tools. Contact between conductors is instead achieved by the box enclosing the cable, and the technology ensures that the pointed screw penetrates the cable's insulation, creating contact. This guarantees low resistance values.

Woertz fire safety systems represent a complete solution with the highest safety requirements, consisting of cable routing systems, flat cables, and junction boxes. The system ensures that safety-relevant elements, in the event of fire, reliably maintain power supply to lighting and ventilation during an evacuation to protect life and health.

The Woertz fire-safe flat cable system is a system-tested, DIN4102 E30/E90 functionally maintained complete solution that meets the highest classification in the regulation, B2ca S1d0a1.

The flat cable system FE180 E90 is used in demanding environments such as railway and road tunnels, power plants, industrial facilities, and escape routes to ensure emergency lighting.

Installation
See load table which refers to installation types A2, B2, C, D2 and E. It is flexible and easier to handle and install. The cable is double insulated and can be installed in walls, laid outdoors in cable trenches, for example, when connecting to outdoor cabinets according to NEK 399.
