The CCS 2 to CCS 1 adapter allows you to fast charge electric vehicles from the USA in Europe. In the USA, CCS Type 1 is the standard, but in Europe, CCS Type 2 has been adopted as the standard. The adapter is compact and is clicked into the car first when fast charging, then the CCS 2 plug from the fast charger is connected.

The adapter can also be used to charge the car from charging stations that have a fixed charging cable with a Type 2 plug.

No, this will only work on cars with a CCS 1 input (American electric vehicles).
