Type 2 støpsel Mode 3 lading 400V 230V 3-fas 1-fas 6-32A Justerbar ladestasjon DC-RCM modul 6mA Lastdeling   Versatile   Viridian E-Lite Charging station with Type 2 connector supports a charging power from 1.4 kW (6A) to 22 kW (32A) and supports all power grids- 230V 1/3-phase (IT) and 400V 3-phase (TN). The charging station is developed for private and public use and is very user-friendly. E-Lite is made of steel and powder coated white- lasting for many years to come.

 

Security- Integrated DC-RCM 6mA The charging box has built-in DC-RCM 6mA which protects against DC (direct current) leaks and means that you do not need an earth fault circuit breaker type B in the fuse box as it is required to have a correct DC-protection in the installation/current course when charging electric vehicles. This means that you only need a standard earth fault circuit breaker type A. This simplifies assembly and reduces installation costs.
E-Lite also has a small hatch at the front with key access that allows you to easily turn off the charging station so that unauthorized persons are not able to charge.

 

Universal Solution The charging station with a type 2 connector is a universal solution that allows all electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids to charge from the charging station safely and quickly. You need a separate mode 3 charging cable for your vehicle to charge. It is recommended that you have a charging cable permanently connected to the charging station as it is convenient and a more practical solution for your every day charging needs. It will always be ready for use and our charging guide will help you find the right cable for your car.

 

Adaption The charging station is adapted to the course on which it is to be used by means of a dip switch. If you already know the course size it will be used for, you are welcome to state this when ordering the product so that it is delivered fully set (6-32A). If not, an electrician can simply do this during installation. If you later decide to upgrade the current rate to 32A, you do not need to change the charging station as you can easily adjust the charging box to the desired current strength (amps).

 

Load Sharing/ Simple Load Sharing (SLS) E-Lite has a built-in option for simple load sharing called Simple Load Sharing (SLS). All stations are now supplied with this standard, making it possible to start one charging station and later expand with one more charging station- should the household have two electric vehicles at a later date. The load sharing divides the current in two if both are in use, e.g. if you already have a current rate of 32A for one E-Lite and later install another when you get 32A when one is charging and 2x13A when both are in use. The load sharing works on current courses between 14-32A.

Questions and Answers

I have 230V/3-phase (IT) at home. Can I get 11 kW/ 22 kW charging? Unfortunately, no. In order to get 11 kW or 22 kW charging, you must have access to a 400V/3-phase (TN-S) power grid.

 

My car supports 6,6 kW (~28A/1-phase) charging and I have access to 16A/3-fas/400V (11 kW) at home. Wil I get 6,6 kW? No. A car that charges on 1-phase will be able to draw a maximum of 3,6kW (16A/1-phase) from a charging station connected to 400V/3-phase. To get up to 11kW, the car must support 3-phase charging.

 

What is the difference between an earth fault circuit breaker and DC-RCM?


Earth-fault circuit breaker type B protects against 30mA AC and DC while a DC-RCM is a module that is sensitive to DC leaks (6mA) and can thus be used with a normal earth-fault circuit breaker type A without going into staturation, which is in accordance with IEC 62995. You can read more about this here (her).

What is a supply cable? It is a short cable with an industrial plug (CEE) so that you can easily connect the charging station to an existing industrial socket. We generally do not recommend this, and that the power cable is installed directly into the charging station.
