The NexBlue Zen (Current Sensor) is a practical device that reads electricity consumption in real-time and optimizes consumption by dynamically load balancing the input. ZEN supports solar panels, allowing charging to occur with excess current. It is perfect for situations with and without smart meters and can communicate with NexBlue chargers via Wi-Fi, LAN, or Nexus Radio Frequency locally.
This means you can use all available power for EV charging when the household's electricity consumption is low. This is very practical when you have a small main fuse or limited capacity if many other appliances in the home draw a lot of power.
ZEN comes in three different versions: CT clamps, P1, and HAN plug. The former is mounted on DIN rails in the fuse box and occupies 3 modules.

NexBlue Zen is easily installed in the fuse box. With a simple configuration, NexBlue ZEN communicates with the charging station(s) via Nexus radio frequency, WiFi, or LAN. The range of the Radio RF is approximately 30-50 meters, depending on placement and building structures.
Smart power management
NexBlue ZEN ensures that vehicle charging occurs at the most opportune time, e.g., when the demand for electricity for other appliances in the home/building is low. The radio frequency communication between ZEN and Edge ensures that automatic dynamic load balancing continues to function if the cloud connection is lost or if there is a problem with your wireless network.
According to the Electrical Equipment Regulations § 21, we are obliged to inform our customers that all electrical materials intended for inclusion in a fixed electrical installation may only be installed by a registered installation company.
