Which variant should I choose?

15.4": For Tesla Model 3 / Y Juniper delivered between March 2025 and February 2026 (excluding Performance)
16": For Tesla Model Y Juniper and Performance (2025+) and Tesla Model 3 delivered from February 2026.
The rear screen is the same size for all Model Y Juniper / Model 3 2025+.

Matte or clear glass?

Installation is simple and takes only a few minutes.

Installation

Preparation – Avoid dust and particles (the most important thing!)

• Work indoors in a clean, windless room (garage or inside the car with doors/hatches closed).
• Temporarily turn off ventilation/AC in the car to minimize airflow and dust.
• Wash your hands and avoid breathing directly onto the screen/glass.
• Ensure good lighting (use a flashlight from the side to see dust).

Step-by-step installation

• Activate Screen Cleaning Mode in your Tesla
• Tap the car icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
• Go to Controls → Display → Screen Cleaning Mode (or similar – the screen will darken and touch will be temporarily deactivated).
• This prevents accidental touches and makes cleaning easier.

Clean the screen extremely thoroughly

• Use the included wet wipe/alcohol wipe (or isopropyl alcohol 70–90% on a microfiber cloth – DO NOT use strong solvents).
• Wipe the entire screen in circular motions – remove all fingerprints, grease, lint, and visible dust.
• Wipe afterward with a clean, dry microfiber cloth until the screen is perfectly smooth and streak-free.
• Check in side light – even microscopic particles will be visible under the glass afterward.
• Use the dust removal sticker (the blue/yellow sticker included in many kits) to lift off the last tiny dust particles. Press lightly and drag it across the screen several times.

Prepare the tempered glass – remove the plastic film correctly

• Hold the glass with the adhesive side (the one with the protective film) facing downwards while slowly peeling off the bottom/back film.
• This prevents dust from the air above from falling onto the adhesive surface.
  Do not touch the adhesive side with your fingers!
• If the kit includes an alignment frame/guide (plastic frame that clips onto the screen): Place it now – it makes perfect centering almost foolproof.

Install quickly – time is critical!

• As soon as the adhesive side is exposed → carefully lift the glass and place it directly over the screen.
• Align with the edges (or use the alignment tool). Many kits have small cuts/marker holes that fit perfectly with the screen's frame.
• Let the glass fall/settle into place – most of the adhesive will self-adhere (auto-aligning adhesive).
• Start from the center and use the squeegee (included plastic tool) or a credit card wrapped in microfiber to push out air bubbles towards the edges.
• Work slowly and evenly – bubbles often disappear completely after a few minutes as the adhesive sets.

Finishing and inspection

• Remove any top film (the clear/matte protective film on the front) once everything is in place.
• Check the edges – gently press with the squeegee if there are small loose areas.
• Allow 10–30 minutes before actively using the screen (the adhesive cures better).
• If there are still a few dust specks underneath: Often use the dust sticker again before the adhesive fully sets (some get specks in the first few hours).
