SPARK UNIVERSAL is the ultimate charging cable for electric vehicles, whether it is an electric car, hybrid or a motorcycle. It replaces all charging cables as it allows charging from almost any socket/outlet. SPARK Universal comes with 7 adapters as standard (all except type 2 plug).

Each adapter is coded so that the electronics do not allow charging with more than what is possible for the adapter. Quick connection makes it easy to change adapters. The charging cable is 7.5 meters long and has a very small control box that makes it usable. The charging cable has full DC protection via a DC filter of 6mA which means that it can be safely connected to all dedicated power circuits. The control electronics (EVSE) performs self-diagnosis when it is connected to the power grid and will display an error code via flashing LED lights. The self-diagnosis includes:

• Continuous monitoring of the wiring between the power grid and the EVSE
• Continuous monitoring of the wiring between the EVSE and the vehicle
• Continuous monitoring for ground faults and off-voltage
• In the event of overvoltage or ground fault detection , the vehicle is disconnected within 40 ms
• RCD type A w/ DC filter 6mA
• Continuous monitoring of switching elements
• Integrated overheating protection

The charging cable is designed according to IEC 62196 and IEC 61851-1 and meets all safety requirements.

Adjusting the current strength

SPARK UNIVERSAL can adjust the current between steps 10A/13A/16A/23A/32A or up to the maximum adapter is coded for . This is easily done via a button/switch that shows the set current. It is useful for cars that do not have this option via the car.
