Surge protection (SPD) from GARO can be used in all types of power distribution systems. It is designed for mounting on DIN rail and fits under modular cover. Class C / II surge protection specially developed for protection against surges in low voltage installations. Most have replaceable protection modules and housings are halogen-free. Manufactured from flame-resistant PBT or flame-resistant nylon (depending on model). All terminals are made of copper, if aluminum is to be connected, transitions must be used.

For aerial lines, we have a special protection we call GST.

From 1.1.2019, surge protection is a mandatory protection in the fuse box when installing a new power circuit for charging electric vehicles. This applies to both a new charging point or charging station.

Do I need surge protection?
