STP40 is a series of divisible ../5A current transformers from class 1 that are available from 250-1000A. STP40 is supplied with a light opening ø40 mm and comes with 1.5 m of pre-assembled secondary cable (1.5mm2). STP40 is installed quickly and easily, the secondary cable is connected to a ../5A instrument such as a network analyzer or kWh meter, then the light opening is opened without tools, and the transformer is simply clicked around the cable and secured with the included straps. If desired, the open function can be locked after installation by tightening the locking screws.
The STP40 series is compact and space-saving while providing a quick and safe installation, simply a cost-effective choice compared to installing standard current transformers where the load must be disconnected. Particularly beneficial for all types of installations in operation that need energy monitoring or load control.
According to the Electrical Equipment Regulations, Section 21, we are obliged to inform our customers that all electrical equipment intended to be part of a fixed electrical installation can only be installed by an authorized and registered installation company .
