Extra sign that can be used as an additional sign if the original license plate is covered by, for example, a bike rack, transport box / SKiiBOX or something else that gets in the way. This sign is approved for use as an extra sign. The signs are produced in high quality materials, and UV printing so that the print stays just as good for a long time.
This is a reasonable insurance. If you choose to drive with a covered license plate, you may risk fines (2750,-) and in the worst case, a driving ban.
When ordering, please write your license plate number as a comment to the order in the format: "XX 12345" . Double check that you have written the correct license plate number as the product is made to order and is therefore exempt from the right of withdrawal.
Normal delivery time is approximately 5-7 business days.

Type of sign
You can choose between two types of signs:
- 2mm aluminum with reflective surface + UV resistant printing (very solid sign)
- 3mm composite with 0.3mm aluminum sheet on each side. The surface is reflective + UV resistant print.
If you choose the option with holes, you will get 2 holes 90mm in from each side, and 10mm from the top of the sign.
The provisions on this can be found in the regulations on the use of vehicles, Section 3-4, No. 7 :
7 a) When transporting a bicycle across a car with a width of 180 cm or less, the bicycle must be mounted so that it has a maximum length of 180 cm measured in the horizontal plane. If the bicycle protrudes beyond the side of the car, it must be mounted approximately symmetrically about the car's center axis. The provisions in paragraph 1 do not apply to such transport.
7 b) If the bicycle obscures the car's lights or license plate, a light bar marked with a letter and number combination that shows the identity of the motor vehicle must be used.
The light bar must have a tail light, stop light, direction indicator light and reflector.
7 c) The marking shall consist of the license plate's letter and number combination in black, approximately the same size as the license plate. It shall have a white or aluminum-colored background, be clearly visible and made of durable material.
